LifecycleOwner

The android.arch Architecture Components packages are no longer maintained. They have been superseded by the corresponding androidx.* packages. See androidx.lifecycle.LifecycleOwner instead.

Known indirect subclasses LifecycleRegistryOwner, LifecycleService, ProcessLifecycleOwner LifecycleRegistryOwner This interface was deprecated in API level 1.1.0. Use android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity which extends LifecycleOwner, so there are no use cases for this class.   LifecycleService A Service that is also a LifecycleOwner.  ProcessLifecycleOwner Class that provides lifecycle for the whole application process.

A class that has an Android lifecycle. These events can be used by custom components to handle lifecycle changes without implementing any code inside the Activity or the Fragment.
