Known Direct Subclasses ReadOnlyBufferException, ReadOnlyFileSystemException ReadOnlyBufferException Unchecked exception thrown when a content-mutation method such as put or compact is invoked upon a read-only buffer. ReadOnlyFileSystemException Unchecked exception thrown when an attempt is made to update an object associated with a read-only FileSystem.

Thrown to indicate that the requested operation is not supported.
